WORKERS' COMPENSATION

Worker's Compensation reform legislation has created a unique and important role for the treating physician. More than ever, it is critical that injured workers are referred to physicians who are not only excellent in their quality of care, but who can also provide clear, concise and ratable reports on a timely basis.

Palomar Orthopaedic Specialists has its own Workers Compensation department, Workforce Orthopaedics, to coordinate the care of patients with industrial injuries.

The practice has a dedicated Workers' Compensation Coordinator to assist adjusters, case managers and patients.

Disability status reports are called in or faxed in to claims departments and employers within 24 hours of appointments.
